(i) Where a scheme contains identical projects/units/profit centres, in such cases exposure of NSFDC will be limited to Rs.500 lakhs (Rs. five crore only) per scheme.
(ii) Those who own the assets under NSFDC assistance alone are considered as beneficiaries.
(iii) The revised rates of interest shall be applicable for the schemes/projects sanctioned w.e.f . 1st April, 2008.
(iv) In view of the large number of beneficiaries are still to be covered financial assistance for the existing/stick/closed units shall not be considered.
(v)

Financial assistance under term loan/bridge loan/seed capital shall be extended to a beneficiary only once.

(vi) The schemes costing less than Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. fifty thousand only), if taken up as a single occupation, do not have the potential of generating income to enable beneficiaries cross above double the poverty line.
(vii) Land based schemes should be composite schemes and, therefore,should not merely be confined to providing land.
(viii) Mahila Kisan Yojana launched during the Year 2008-09 and Shilpi Samridhi Yojana has been launched during  the Year 2009-10.
(ix) Under Transport Sector Schemes, only one vehicle per beneficiary/institution shall be considered. The commercial Licence shall be a compulsory requirement for such beneficiaries.
(x) The interpretation of any or all provisions of the Lending Policy by the Board Directors of NSFDC shall be final and binding as to its items, content, purport and / or implementation.
(xi) The Board of Directors of NSFDC may from time to time add to, substitute, alter, amend and /or any terms and conditions of the Lending Policy.
(xii) In case of any disputes of claims under or arising out of the Lending Policy, Courts only at Delhi, to the exclusion of the other Courts, shall have the exclusive jurisdiction.
